Sneakers and Baju Kurung

today i wore sneakers and a nice pair of cotton baju kurung to class. the new pair of sneakers i bought using my allowance--my first pair of sneakers in fact.

some said it looks cute.

some said it looks stylish.

some said i look like a bad girl.

some reminisced her school days heydays, where she wore it and got scoldings

one guy said it lookd weird

and people stared.

but i love it. it may not be a pair made in heaven, but i love it. besides, life's too beautiful to worry about fashion rules no?


which reminded me of something. someone, actually. someone who think that they don't deserve each other. someone who think that they don't and won't make a fine pair. that they wont look good. that they wont complement each other. that they don't have the chemistry because they are world apart, because they're so different, totally opposite that they don't belong together.

but seriously darling, who the hell cares?


people will always be people.


as long as you are happy, just as long as you are happy, why care about what people say? why care about what people might think? as long as it feels good, for goodness sake just go for it. because in the end its your life, not theirs.
